After years of refusing to use WhatsApp because it entailed giving my confidential contact list to Meta, I removed my confidential contacts from my phone book and opened a WhatsApp account. That long-promised interoperability will never happen if nobody forces Meta to implement it.

I quit using Twitter in September 2024 (as announced here and here) and deleted all my 135,000 tweets in November 2024 (as announced here). My account names used to be @disinformatico and @AttivissimoLIVE. Both names were later reused by impostors; any posts you see under those names are not mine. The first name is still active; I managed to get the second one suspended. Impostors and trolls pretending to be me on X/Twitter are easy to spot: they don’t have almost 400,000 followers and they weren’t created in 2007.
